Company Mill Trail
Umstead State Park, Raleich, NC
On October 4, 2025, Kim and I hiked the Company Mill Trail and a portion of the Sycamore Trail in William B. Umstead State Park near Raleigh, NC. This was a nice hike through low areas along Crabtree and Sycamore creeks and upland areas in-between the creeks. We detoured up to the dam that forms Sycamore Lake and then rock-hopped across Sycamore Creek to get back on the Company Mill Trail. It was a fun day!
