Piedra Marcadas Trail
Petroglyph National Monument, Albuquerque, NM
On February 20, 2023 Kim and I also walked the Piedra Marcadas (North Rim and main) trail in Petroglyph National Monument just outside Albuquerque. The North Rim trail is basically a walk through a mesa, but once your drop down onto the main trail the ridge is covered with numerous petroglyphs. The trail starts behind a gas station (or was it a Wallgreens) so I did not have high hopes, but both parts of the trail were interesting, with the petroglyphs being especially neat.
