Gilbertson Conservation Education Center Loop 1
Cash and I explored some of the trails at the Gilbertson Conservation Education Center near Elgin on 20-Mar-24. We created a large loop that took in many of the individual trails at the center. It was a nice mix of typical northeast Iowa hardwoods, some prairie land, and a stretch along the Volga River. All-in-all it was a very nice hike.
